The 2022 Subaru Outback

Even at its base, the 2022 Subaru Outback offers Chicago motorists 8.7 inches of ground clearance. That's plenty of room to clear obstacles and terrain on adventures around Lake Michigan.

High-capacity fixed roof rails are built to haul anything your adventure requires.

Like the Onyx, the Subaru Outback Wilderness is also powered by a 2.4-liter turbocharged flat-4 BOXER® engine that provides 260 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque, and a 3,500-pound maximum towing rating. The Onyx can't match the Wilderness trim's traction presence, though, as this Subaru Outback SUV features dual-function Enhanced Subaru X-Mode®, providing Snow/Dirt and Deep Snow/Mud modes with medium-to-high-speed functions.
